Camille Paper-Bag Boot
A gathered, serrated-cuff boot that turns a casual paper-bag observation into a sharp stiletto shape.
Story & heritage
White’s own LCF interview gives Camille its origin story: after noticing the gathered, serrated edge of a paper bag on Brick Lane, he sketched and taped leather to a last, evolving the idea into the Camille paper-bag boot.
Forbes also names Camille as a signature look of the brand and connects it directly to the later Issey ruffle mule.
Materials & craft
The boot is defined by its soft upper and folded collar: the cuff is gathered and serrated rather than smooth, creating a paper-bag effect around a pointed stiletto boot shape.
How to choose & style
Camille is strongest with cropped hems or fluid midi skirts, where the folded top can be seen. The black suede version reads graphic and evening-ready without needing extra hardware.
