Story & heritage
The official Alfred Sung history frames Sung Alfred Sung as the brand's original fragrance: developed over almost three years, launched on September 26, 1986 in Canada, and strong enough to sell through a planned two-year supply in four months.
That success made fragrance a second identity for the label. The brand page says Sung continued to sell worldwide more than 35 years later, while FragranceNet still lists the 3.4 oz women's eau de toilette as an active Alfred Sung item.
Materials & craft
The official account says the juice was formulated in Paris by Givaudan and the bottle was created with renowned designer Pierre Dinand. It describes a light but lasting white-floral bouquet: sparkling citrus and green florals over jasmine, iris and muguet, with musk and precious woods underneath.
How to choose & style
Wear Sung when the brief is clean, polished and unmistakably eighties in the best way: a white shirt, tailored trousers, a black dress or bridal-adjacent satin all make sense around its bright floral line.
