Story & heritage
Aspinal's Wikipedia extract records The Paris Bag as the brand's first handbag, launched in 2007, the same year Aspinal opened its first retail location in Selfridges London. The current official Paris page keeps the line in the Design Icons family.
Materials & craft
The Large Paris product page describes a trapeze silhouette, responsibly sourced full-grain leather and an origami-inspired composition with tactical folds that can be worn outwards for extra space. Details include grosgrain lining, a zipped internal pocket, magnetic-dot bridging tab and detachable signature 'A' and Bee charms.
How to choose & style
The Paris is best for people who want the house's history without the formality of a Mayfair. Let the trapeze shape breathe: it looks strongest carried by the handles with simple tailoring or wide summer separates.
