Story & heritage
Berluti’s official icon page calls the Forestière an icon of Parisian tailoring and traces the original Arnys design to the 1940s, named for the standing-collar jackets worn by French forest rangers. Berluti reinterpreted the Forestière in 2013 after acquiring Arnys, leaning into its hybrid character between workwear and tailoring.
The patina leather version makes that inheritance unmistakably Berluti: Left Bank ease, but rendered in suede calf leather and house colour.
Materials & craft
The official product details list a patina suede leather jacket with patina-effect horn buttons, a nappa leather-bound buttonhole at the collar, patch pockets with moccasin-stitch details, Scritto lining and Made in Italy origin.
How to choose & style
Treat it as a softer blazer: knit polo, relaxed trousers, loafers or refined sneakers. Warm Purple Grey is nuanced enough for tonal dressing; Purple Grape is more expressive and needs a quieter base.
