Story & heritage
LouLou arrived in 1987, after Anaïs Anaïs and Cacharel Pour L'Homme, and moved the brand from pale romantic florals into a more saturated floral-oriental register.
Its faceted turquoise bottle and illustrated carton make it one of the most visually recognizable Cacharel fragrances.
Materials & craft
US retail copy lists top notes of plum, iris, violet and jasmine; middle notes of tuberose, heliotrope and orange blossom; and a base of incense, vanilla, sandalwood and musk.
How to choose & style
LouLou works best when the fragrance is allowed to be the color: black knits, velvet, denim and evening coats keep the bright blue bottle's bold personality from feeling costume-like.
