Story & heritage

The Bubble was created under Severin Wunderman, the owner who pushed Corum into a louder American-market era. Wikipedia records the line's defining trait as an unusually huge sapphire glass face, produced through the 2000s and reintroduced in 2015.

Its cult appeal comes from distortion: the tall crystal magnifies and bends the dial, making the watch feel closer to pop art than classic Swiss restraint. Later limited editions leaned into that personality with characters, games, skulls and graphic collaborations.

Materials & craft

The Bubble family is built around an oversized round case and a dramatically domed sapphire crystal. Depending on edition, the watch may carry automatic, central tourbillon, or limited-art dials; the common craft signature is the crystal itself, which creates the visual magnification that gives the line its name.

How to choose & style

The Bubble wants casual confidence. It pairs naturally with leather jackets, graphic knits, wide-leg denim, and anything that can absorb a watch with a sense of humour. Choose plain dials for daily wear; choose Joker or art editions only if the watch is meant to lead the outfit.
