Story & heritage
COS launched its first flagship on London’s Regent Street in 2007 and built a language of modern, seasonless pieces shaped by architecture, graphics and design. On Chicaire, the COS icons are therefore treated as quiet wardrobe anchors rather than logo-led status objects.
COS lists this jacket as another Capsule Wardrobe icon. It takes the brand’s outerwear language—minimal, tactile and slightly oversized—and compresses it into a short jacket shape.
Materials & craft
The official page lists double-faced RWS wool and TENCEL™ Lyocell, a pointed collar, front welt pockets, relaxed fit and button closure. COS notes the Responsible Wool Standard certification for animal-welfare and land-management requirements.
How to choose & style
Because it runs relaxed, it layers over knits without bulk. Keep the lower half clean: pencil skirts, tapered trousers or a straight black jean.
