Story & heritage
D1 Milano is grounded in the idea of the watch as a design object, and the Polycarbon Sketch is its most instantly graphic expression: a 40.5mm black Polycarbon model traced with visible sketch lines.
The official description frames the piece as an experiment in process, leaving construction marks visible rather than hiding them; Worn & Wound also singled out the model for its two-dimensional optical effect.
Materials & craft
The official product page specifies a soft-touch polycarbonate case, polycarbonate integrated bracelet, steel butterfly clasp, 316L stainless-steel caseback, brass dial and hands, anti-reflective coated mineral glass, TMI VJ21 quartz movement, 5 ATM water resistance and a 54g weight.
How to choose & style
Wear it as the playful centre of a pared-back outfit: black denim, a white tee or a simple nylon jacket lets the hand-drawn outline carry the look.
The Sketch language is strongest when the rest of the accessories are clean, matte and intentionally minimal.
