Story & heritage

Mattia carries the masculine-feminine contrast that Designers Remix names as part of its universe. The official Shirt Dress is a relaxed striped maxi with short sleeves, button front, open collar and side slits; the Oversized Shirt uses a curved hem and chest pocket.

Together they form a clean shirting family that feels less formal than tailoring but more architectural than a basic cotton shirt.

Materials & craft

Current Mattia shirt and shirt-dress listings are in 100% organic cotton. The construction details are classic shirting ones: button-front closure, open collar, chest pocket, curved hem and stripe placement used as the visual line.

How to choose & style

Wear the oversized shirt untucked over wide pants for volume, or half-tucked into denim for a cleaner line. The shirt dress works best when the side slits can move, so keep footwear low and simple.
