Story & heritage
Ashima Horizon Blade is represented on District Vision's official eyewear store by the Ashima Horizon Blade, Clear/D+ Black Rose, a current performance frame in the brand's D+ lens universe.
Materials & craft
Made in Japan. The Ashima Horizon Blade, named after climber Ashima Shiraishi and developed in collaboration with her over two years of iterative testing, is designed around lens geometries specifically optimized for outdoor climbing. Utilizing a 6-base frame construction, the frame incorporates extended peripheral lens coverage for enhanced visual protection.
How to choose & style
Choose the lens tint around terrain and light: mirrored or darker lenses sharpen bright-day runs, while softer tints keep the frame easy for shoulder-season miles and travel.
