Story & heritage
Andover Jacket is Engineered Garments at its most jacket-like: a tailored family that appears season after season in cotton twill, wool and patchwork cloths.
It keeps the brand’s American-made ready-to-wear language but turns the volume down compared with the more overtly workwear Bedford or Loiter.
Materials & craft
Nepenthes America lists the black highcount twill Andover in 100% cotton, made in the US, and notes the core black, dark navy and khaki colour run. Other current Andover versions use tropical wool or multi-pattern patchwork.
How to choose & style
Treat it as EG’s least fussy tailoring piece: oxford shirt, knit polo or tee all work, especially with matching Andover pants or fatigues.
The cotton versions read everyday; tropical wool versions are the easiest way to dress the brand up without losing its loose hand.
