Story & heritage
Introduced in 1996, the G-STAR Elwood is the brand’s defining 3D denim statement. Official G-STAR history credits Pierre Morisset’s motorcycle-pant inspiration and describes the jean as a pillar of the label’s raw-denim heritage.
This current Elwood 3D Regular version keeps the recognizable diagonal thigh seams, knee pads and reinforced heel guards while shifting the icon into a regular straight fit.
Materials & craft
First introduced in 1996, the pioneering design of the G-STAR Elwood has been reinvented in a regular straight fit. As part of our Anatomic Denim collection, it features diagonal seams across the thighs, knee pads, and reinforced heel guards. These elements are engineered to enhance the fit and provide the freedom of movement.
Details include Button closure, Inset pockets, Back pockets, G-Star label at the back.
How to choose & style
Let the construction lead: wear it with a plain white tee, utility overshirt or compact denim jacket so the knee panels and tilted seams stay visible.
