The company first focused on leather gloves, then broadened: swimming trunks in 1993, and shirts, trousers and sweaters from 1995. Its first boutique opened in 2000 in Frattamaggiore, Naples, with Capri and Miami following soon after, and in 2006 PDM was renamed Harmont & Blaine.
Lines for women (2010), shoes and juniors widened the range, and the brand pushed abroad — into France with a Paris flagship on Boulevard des Capucines in 2015, and beyond. By 2020 it counted around 140 points of sale, and reported a turnover of 75 million euros at the end of its 2014 financial year.
