Story & heritage
Holzweiler says check is the most longstanding print in its scarf offering, which makes Fresia a useful summary of the brand's beginnings. Like Aster, the line is tied to the Florence scarf workshop Holzweiler still references when telling the story of how the label first grew.
Materials & craft
The Fresia Check Tassel Scarf is made in Italy from a soft alpaca, mohair, wool and nylon blend. Its proportions — 26 by 210 centimetres — and fringed ends keep the shape classic, while the fuzzy checked surface gives it the tactile, slightly clouded finish Holzweiler favours in its scarf program.
How to choose & style
Fresia does the opposite of the plain Aster: it becomes the pattern event in the outfit. Use it over solid coats, denim or a simple knit and let the scale of the check deliver the interest.
