Wanda is another of the four heritage shapes chosen for ic! berlin's 30th-anniversary capsule, which immediately elevates it from catalogue staple to canon piece. Marcolin frames the whole capsule as a conversation between history and innovation, and Wanda is plainly on the history side of that equation — but not stuck there.
The Optical Journal says Wanda enriches the brand's legacy while keeping the excitement of novelty, describing it as an elegant stainless-steel frame with a round front and a bolder, more feminine attitude. That makes Wanda a useful reminder that ic! berlin minimalism does not have to be severe.
