Story & heritage
ISAIA describes Domenico as a carefree silhouette with carefully crafted modern details, conceived from the idea of a soft sport coat and translated into a suit. ISAIA was founded in Naples in 1920 and is recognized by its tiny red coral logo, a local good-luck symbol.
Our Domenico Suit indulges in both with its carefree silhouette and carefully crafted modern details. Our Domenico Suit indulges in both with its carefree silhouette and carefully crafted modern details. Primarily conceived as a soft sport coat, our Domenico silhouette is completely deconstructed, with no shoulder pad at all, but retains a full canvas construction to maintain its shape. The resulting light, natural drape and simple silhouette emphasize the grinze detail at the shoulder and the tapered, cardigan-like sleeve. To complement this tailored silhouette, we've paired the jacket with a Sanita trouser.
Materials & craft
The official page says Domenico is completely deconstructed with no shoulder pad, yet keeps a full canvas construction to preserve shape. That combination gives it a natural drape while keeping visible tailoring discipline.
How to choose & style
Domenico works well for clients who want tailored polish without stiffness. Wear it with loafers, a knit tee or a soft-collared shirt so the relaxed structure stays believable.
