Chunky, round, and a little eccentric — the frame that made Karen Walker's humor wearable.

Story & heritage
Karen Walker calls Super Duper Strength a much-loved, defining style, and the label's own copy emphasises the frame's bold, instantly recognisable round shape. Teen Vogue also placed Super Duper Strength among the Karen Walker sunglasses that reliably suit a wide range of faces, which helps explain its long-running appeal.
Within the broader eyewear range, Super Duper Strength is the extrovert counterpart to Number One: more circular, more graphic, and more obviously playful. It is one of the clearest examples of how the brand turns humour into a stable product code.
Materials & craft
The current Crazy Tort version is made in premium bio-acetate, which the official page describes as a more natural acetate using FSC-guided wood pulp and a vegetable-derived plasticiser alternative. Aviator-green tinted lenses and arrowhead temple pins complete the build.
How to choose & style
Because the frame is already expressive, it works best as the punch line in otherwise clean dressing. Tort acetate is especially forgiving: it brings warmth to navy, camel, olive, and washed denim without feeling louder than a black outfit can support.
