Aya is one of the clearest recurring Kat Maconie signatures on the official catalogue, appearing across SS22, RS23, AW23 and SS25 product drops. That repeat presence turns it from a seasonal sandal into a house identifier.
Across those releases, the constants stay intact: a sculptural high heel, bright contrast palettes and the embroidered bird embellishment that makes the shoe recognisable from the back as well as the side.
Materials & craft
The current US product page describes a layered upper in goat suede, cow leather and PE, while older official Aya releases keep the same multi-part construction and decorative finish. The silhouette is built to be loud from every angle rather than minimal from any one view.
