Story & heritage
KENZO was built on flowers — Kenzo Takada's house was defined from 1970 by its floral and botanical prints, and the bloom has run through the brand under every creative director since. The KENZO Tulip tote carries that heritage onto an everyday canvas bag: an oversized flower printed large across the front, signed with a hand-drawn Kenzo script.
By 2017 KENZO had grown its accessories and shoe business to nearly a third of revenues, and bags like this floral tote are part of that everyday, print-led offer — the house's botanical signature in a soft, casual carry.
Materials & craft
The tote is cut from sturdy navy twill / denim-like cotton canvas in a structured, open-top shape with twin top handles. The oversized bloom is printed across the front in blue, with the cursive Kenzo signature in green beneath it. Topstitched seams and a reinforced base give the soft canvas its hold.
How to choose & style
The navy ground keeps the big blue bloom graphic but wearable — roomy enough for a daily carry, casual enough for weekends and travel, and a direct link to the house's floral roots. As a printed canvas piece rather than a logo-hardware bag, it carries KENZO quietly, through pattern, the way the founder's prints once did.
