Story & heritage
Lee says the Union-All was launched in 1913 by sewing a Lee jacket onto a pair of pants, originally for mechanics and later for farmers, miners, railroad workers and ranchers. It is one of the brand’s foundational workwear icons.
The modern Heritage Loose Union-Alls keep that one-piece idea alive, translating the original all-in-one utility garment into a current denim piece.
Materials & craft
The current product page lists a loose fit with a 26-inch inseam, full-zip front, two chest pockets, two hip pockets, a carpenter pocket and workwear patches. The result is a practical denim coverall with a distinctly Lee shape.
How to choose & style
Union-Alls are easiest to wear when you lean into the one-and-done idea: one layer, good boots and not much else. They can also be worn half-zipped over a tee if you want a cleaner, less uniform look.
Because the silhouette is already statement-making, keep accessories minimal and let the workwear hardware do the talking.
