Story & heritage
The BB is Manolo Blahnik's best-known pump, a streamlined heel inspired by Brigitte Bardot and introduced as a modern house staple in 2009. Its appeal is the opposite of ornament for ornament's sake: the silhouette is all clean lines, a long pointed toe, and enough height to read elegant without feeling fussy.
Materials & craft
This version is cut in suede with a pointed toe and a slim 90mm heel. The construction is intentionally spare so the line of the upper and the pitch of the heel do the talking, and the shoe is made in Italy.
How to choose & style
The BB is the easiest route to a polished heel that still feels wearable. Black works with tailoring and denim alike; white reads fresher against summer suiting or a clean dress. If the outfit already has drama, the BB is the quiet companion that finishes it.
