The Ruby print taken and reworked from the A/W11 collection is a crystal trompe-l’oeil ‘plexus print’. Rendered in rich ruby red this crystal grid was inspired by the ‘Swan’ egg by Fabergé from 1906. The silvery jewels are engineered across the body giving a graphic but delicate appearance, the idea that the wearer becomes adorned with a delicate Fabergé lattice.
