Story & heritage

Michael Lo Sordo’s Alexandra line is the brand’s most recognizable evening silhouette: a plunging, open-back gown with crossover straps and a front slit. The same shape was later renamed the Bond 007 Paloma after Ana de Armas wore it in No Time to Die, and the label now runs the style across silk satin and silk crepe in several core colourways.

Materials & craft

Built around silk satin and silk crepe, the Alexandra family is cut to skim the body rather than cling to it. The family signatures are consistent across versions: crossover straps, a low open back, and a leg-baring slit that keeps the drape fluid.

How to choose & style

Wear it when you want the dress to do the work: keep accessories minimal, add a clean heel, and pull the hair up so the neckline and back stay visible. The satin versions read more luminous; the crepe versions feel a touch more pared back.
