Story & heritage
Superga’s own history and Wikipedia both place the 2750 at the centre of the brand: the Turin company began in 1911, and the 2750 arrived in 1925 as a rubber-soled sports shoe for tennis.
The current 2750 Cotu Classic product page still calls it an Italian style staple and an authentic design piece, which is why this low-top canvas shoe remains the cleanest expression of the brand.
Materials & craft
The official page lists a breathable cotton canvas upper, an unlined interior, cotton laces, logo-engraved aluminium eyelets, a two-tone jacquard side tag, and a vulcanized natural rubber sole.
Its appeal is in the plain construction: a low canvas upper, rubber foxing, and enough colour range to act as a blank canvas without losing the original tennis-shoe outline.
How to choose & style
Choose the 2750 when you want the quiet Superga read: white with cropped trousers, navy with denim, or a saturated colour to soften a summer dress. The shoe works best when the styling stays easy rather than technical.
