Story & heritage
OCEAN OF STORMS is part of the Blancpain x Swatch Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collection. Swatch says the watch honors Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, the first true diver’s watch, while keeping Swatch branding on the case.
The black colour story links the model to Oceanus Procellarum, the Ocean of Storms region of the moon, and the transparent case back carries a digital-print nudibranch illustration.
Materials & craft
The official page lists a black Bioceramic case and crown, black unidirectional Bioceramic bezel, biosourced glass, Grade A Super-LumiNova® on the hands, indexes, and diving scale, plus 50 fathoms water resistance.
Its SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible through transparent sapphire glass. The NATO strap is made from recycled fishing nets, with Bioceramic buckle and loops.
