Story & heritage
Burford is described by Tricker’s as purposely unassuming: a clean seven-eyelet Derby ankle boot. Its place in the icon set is the absence of brogueing — the Tricker’s boot reduced to stance, welt and leather.
For a brand best known for heavy country boots and shoes, Burford is the sober counterpoint to Stow: same practical world, less ornament.
Materials & craft
The official description lists leather uppers and linings, a half-bellows tongue and storm welt. Brown Muflone gives this version a softer, textured leather character while preserving the straightforward Derby-boot architecture.
How to choose & style
Burford is the easiest Tricker’s boot to dress down or up. It can sit under denim and waxed cotton, but the plain toe also works with wool trousers where a full wingtip would shout.
