Story & heritage
Wolf & Shepherd was founded in 2014 by Justin Schneider, a former Notre Dame decathlete and footwear designer, around the idea of rebuilding dress shoes with running-shoe comfort technology.
The longwing extends the Crossover idea into a brogue profile, with official copy noting a Steve Nash collaboration alongside the hybrid dress-shoe build.
Materials & craft
Official specs list Full-grain burnished calfskin upper, Removable memory foam footbed for industry-leading comfort, Ultra soft, abrasion-resistant lining, Leather treated with custom-blended formula to improve softness and durability.
The shared Wolf & Shepherd formula pairs polished uppers with removable memory-foam cushioning and traction-minded outsoles, keeping the shoe readable as refined while making it easier to wear for long days.
How to choose & style
Style it where a sneaker would feel too casual but a hard dress shoe would feel too stiff: tailored trousers, knit polos, relaxed suiting, dark denim, and travel uniforms built around clean layers.
Choose darker leather or knit shades for business settings, and keep white or honey-toned versions for weekend, resort and smart-casual looks.
