Story & heritage
The official Iconics page calls out signature kimonos as part of the Antonio Marras canon. Current US listings show the kimono as a short, relaxed jacket language rather than a single fixed SKU: silk twill, floral brocade, microcheck, pinstripe, taffeta, and botanical prints all rotate through the form.
As a ready-to-wear house launched by Marras in 1999, this is one of the clearest ways the brand turns surface design into structure: the rectangular ease of the kimono lets textile clashes stay readable.
Materials & craft
Official descriptions mention printed silk twill, floral jacquard brocade, microcheck inserts, striped jersey details, camel pinstripe accents, taffeta, contrast neckline/cuff/front details, waist ties, and embroidered belts depending on the style.
How to choose & style
Wear it as the art layer over a tank and trousers, or belt it over a slim skirt when the print needs a frame. The short length keeps the silhouette modern; the versions with dark contrast trim are the easiest substitute for a blazer.
