Story & heritage
Bernhard Willhelm founded his namesake house with Jutta Kraus in 1998; the label debuted womenswear in 1999 and menswear in 2000 after his Antwerp training and early work with Walter van Beirendonck, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, and Dirk Bikkembergs.
The Brown Wide-Leg Lounge Pants sit in the same SSENSE edit as the Patch Pocket Shirt, turning a lounge-pant shape into a graphic, corduroy set piece.
Materials & craft
The retailer lists a stretch cotton corduroy fabric, drawstring elasticized waistband, three-pocket styling, button-fly closure, embroidered graphics at the front, and 98% cotton / 2% elastane content made in the Netherlands.
How to choose & style
Use the volume deliberately: wear them pooled with flat shoes, or match them with the patch-pocket shirt so the embroidered knees and utility pockets read as one graphic uniform.
