BOGGI
Re-checked daily
Founded by Paolo Boggi in 1964, Boggi Milano grew from a small shop specialising in tailored suits in Monza into an Italian menswear house with hundreds of stores worldwide.

After launching its first collection, the company expanded to Milan with a store in the Galleria Passarella near Piazza San Babila and the Duomo. In 1996 it became an international brand with its first store abroad, in Geneva, and in 2003 it was acquired by the Brian & Barry Group.

Today, headquartered at Casa Boggi in Milan and owned by the Brian & Barry Group, the brand runs hundreds of stores across dozens of countries and sits alongside retailers like Selfridges, Bloomingdale's and El Corte Inglés. In 2025 it opened US stores on Madison Avenue and in SoHo, and became the official formalwear outfitter of the FIFA World Cup through 2027.

BOGGI shopping FAQ

Is Boggi Milano worth it for a work suit?+

Boggi Milano sits squarely in the smart-but-sensible lane, which is exactly what makes it a popular workwear choice. It's an Italian brand built since 1964 on tailored menswear, so the styling reads classic and office-appropriate rather than flashy. Treat it as a dependable foundation for a professional wardrobe rather than a statement piece.

Is Boggi Milano good quality?+

For its tier, Boggi Milano is a solid, consistent option with a clean Italian aesthetic. The brand has grown from a single Monza tailoring shop into a name with stores in dozens of countries, and that scale comes with reliable, repeatable making rather than artisanal one-offs. Set expectations at dependable smart menswear, and it tends to deliver.

How does Boggi Milano compare to Suitsupply?+

They're natural rivals in accessible tailored menswear, but with different flavours. Boggi Milano carries a distinctly Italian, established-house feel, having been founded in Milan in 1964 and run today by the Brian & Barry Group; Suitsupply leans more contemporary. If you want the classic Milanese look from a long-standing brand, Boggi is the more heritage-minded pick.

Where is Boggi Milano from?+

It's an Italian brand, and Milan is central to its identity. Boggi was founded in 1964 by Paolo Boggi, who opened a small shop specialising in tailored suits, and the company is headquartered in Milan. It even celebrates that home with its Casa Boggi headquarters, opened there in 2024.

Who founded Boggi Milano and when?+

Boggi was founded in 1964 by Paolo Boggi, who started with a small shop dedicated to tailored suits before launching the brand's first collection and expanding into Milan. From that single store it grew into the international menswear name it is today.

Who owns Boggi Milano now?+

Boggi Milano is owned by the Brian & Barry Group, controlled by the Zaccardi family, which acquired the brand in 2003 for €13.2 million. Following the death of CEO Carlo Zaccardi in February 2025, Claudio Zaccardi became President and CEO of Boggi.

Can I shop Boggi Milano in the US?+

Yes, and the US presence has expanded sharply. In 2025 Boggi opened directly operated stores in New York on Madison Avenue, in Soho on Mercer Street and at The Shops at Columbus Circle, with its flagship a roughly 8,810-square-foot space at 527 Madison Avenue. It also runs shop-in-shop spaces inside Bloomingdale's.

What is Boggi Milano known for?+

Boggi Milano is known for classic Italian tailored menswear, the kind of refined, business-ready clothing that traces back to its origins as a Monza tailoring shop in the 1960s. Over the decades it has broadened beyond formal tailoring, but smart Italian dressing remains its signature.

Does Boggi Milano have any sports or event partnerships?+

Yes. In 2025 Boggi Milano became the official formalwear outfitter and licensee of the FIFA Men's World Cup and the Women's World Cup through 2027. In 2026 it created a capsule of polos and T-shirts commemorating the eight national teams that have won the World Cup, including Brazil, Italy, Argentina, France and England.

Is Boggi Milano a big international brand or a small label?+

It's grown well beyond a single shop. As of 2025 Boggi Milano had more than 240 stores across 63 countries, including franchise locations, and in 2025 alone it opened 140 stores across eight countries in just two months. So while it began as a Monza tailor, it now operates at genuinely international scale.

When is the best time to buy from Boggi Milano?+

As with most tailored menswear, the established sale windows are your best entry point. Watch the end of the spring/summer and autumn/winter seasons, when collections turn over and prior-season suiting and shirting tend to move. Because Boggi's style is deliberately classic, a slightly older piece rarely looks out of step.
