Story & heritage
Saberi began an ongoing collaboration with Salomon for Spring/Summer 2017 and for the 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi line. The Bamba 2 High became the clearest object from that relationship: a trail-derived, zip-front high sneaker filtered through object dyeing and the brand's severe colour palette.
The official Boris Bidjan Saberi site keeps a dedicated 11 by BBS Salomon collaboration page, while retailers continue to list Bamba 2 High and Bamba 2 High GTX models years later. That persistence is why it belongs in the icon set.
Materials & craft
hide[m] lists the Bamba 2 High x Salomon as object dyed in light grey, with each piece unique and a 100% polyester material line. Farfetch lists the Bamba 2 high-top boot with mesh panelling, round toe, front zip fastening, branded insole, flat rubber sole, polyester outer, and rubber sole.
How to choose & style
The high version is the natural partner for P13 and P14 because the trouser stacks over the collar. Black is the stealth option; object-dyed grey or brown makes the shoe read as a treated object rather than a pure technical sneaker.
