Story & heritage
Brioni places the Soffio Blazer in its official icon group beside the Travel Jacket, Jardigan, Trama and Appia. Its role is the softer blazer: luxurious materials with an easier attitude than the strict business suit.
Current Soffio listings include Zefiro silk-cashmere-linen, glen plaid wool-silk and double-breasted pied-de-poule cashmere-silk-linen versions.
Materials & craft
Official product copy points to hand-made eyelets, notch lapels, patch pockets and double-splittable construction on some models. The material vocabulary is especially Brioni: silk, cashmere, linen and wool used to make structure feel light.
The Soffio is best understood as a summer-to-evening blazer rather than a suit jacket. It should breathe, drape and still hold a clean line.
How to choose & style
Use it with a knit polo or open-collar shirt, not a heavy business shirt. Checked and double-breasted versions become the whole look, so keep trousers plain and shoes soft.
