Story & heritage

C.P. Company was founded in Bologna in 1971 by Massimo Osti, and its design research is rooted in military uniforms, work suits and garment-led experimentation. The Goggle / Mille Miglia jacket is the brand’s best-known symbol: the wiki source identifies the 1988 Mille Miglia jacket, also known as the Goggle jacket, by clear lenses in the hood and at the wrist.

The current official Goggle focus page presents the Goggle Jacket as an icon introduced in 1988 and reworked season after season. This C.P. Shell-R version keeps that code legible through foldable hood lenses, a sleeve Lens and a functional outerwear build.

Materials & craft

The official product page lists C.P. Shell-R as a three-layer recycled polyester softshell with mechanical stretch, Global Recycled Standard certification, water resistance up to 5000 mm, windproof performance and anti-drop treatment. It adds a hidden two-way zip with snap placket, side flap pockets, adjustable cuffs, adjustable waist and hem, polyester lining and a 92% polyester / 8% elastane outer fabric.

How to choose & style

Treat it as the purest contemporary C.P. Company jacket: technical enough for wet city days, but clean enough over knitwear, cargo trousers or dark denim. The blue colorway works best when the rest of the outfit stays muted so the hood hardware and sleeve Lens do the talking.
