Story & heritage
The Worker Jacket is backed by the official store plus current U.S. retail listings from Neighbour and Canoe Club.
It is one of the clearest examples of Fortgens’ everyday-garment method: the work jacket is recognizable, but its seams, collar and pocketing keep interrupting the template.
Materials & craft
Official copy lists a boxy zip-up shape, light cotton lining, flat corduroy collar with raw edge details, angular welt pockets, a zip chest pocket and allover irregular contrast worker-detail topstitching.
The sand vintage-wash canvas version is specified as 100% cotton and Made in Bulgaria.
How to choose & style
Wear it as the rougher outerwear counterpoint to the Simple Jacket: over denim, cropped trousers or shorts, with the collar left visibly imperfect.
Sand vintage wash is softer and sun-baked; black vintage wash feels more like a graphic workwear shell.
