Story & heritage
CAMILLA AND MARC was launched in 2003 at Australian Fashion Week by Sydney siblings Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman. The label is grounded in the tension Wikipedia records for the house: masculine tailoring shaped into feminine silhouettes.
The official trench category calls the collection “signature trench coats,” and Evans is the clearest classic expression: long, belted and built for off-duty, workwear and occasion layering.
Materials & craft
The official page lists sand twill fabrication, double-breasted construction, undercollar stitch detailing, shoulder epaulettes, storm flaps and removable belts, with an approximately 126cm back length.
How to choose & style
Let the oversized fit stay relaxed. It works over denim and shirting, over a slim black base, or open over tailoring when the waist belt is tied behind the body.
