Story & heritage
Chloé's round metal sunglass — the Carlina and the house's other "Iconic" round frames — is its signature shape in eyewear. The brand has licensed its eyewear over the years to Marcolin, then Marchon, and since 2020 to Kering Eyewear, but the round gold-tone frame has remained the recognisable Chloé silhouette throughout.
Its defining flourish is the cursive Chloé signature drawn in fine metal wire across the lens — the house's handwritten logo turned into the frame's most distinctive detail.
Materials & craft
The frame is built in gold-tone metal in a rounded, retro silhouette, with gradient lenses and the cursive Chloé name formed in slim wire that traces across one lens. The temples carry the engraved house signature, and the round shape and metal construction give the design its 1970s-inflected, distinctly Chloé character.
How to choose & style
The round gold frame is the most recognisably Chloé pair — its retro shape and warm metal suit the house's bohemian register, and the wire signature is the giveaway up close. Gradient brown lenses read soft and classic. As with the brand's clothes, the frames sit best with relaxed, romantic dressing, the single statement on the face.
