Story & heritage
The Nama sneaker became one of Chloé's signature shoes of the 2020s — a chunky, ridged platform trainer distinguished by delicate hand-stitched detailing and the house's emphasis on lower-impact, responsible design.
Where most luxury sneakers lean sporty, the Nama folds the brand's craft codes into the silhouette: the scalloped whipstitching around the upper and the embossed Chloé signature give a casual shoe an artisanal, distinctly Chloé character.
Materials & craft
The Nama is built on a thick, vertically ridged rubber platform sole, with an upper of leather and suede panels joined by visible, hand-stitched scalloping in a contrast thread. The tongue and heel tab carry the embossed Chloé name. Chloé has positioned the Nama within its responsible-materials programme, part of the brand's broader sustainability commitments.
How to choose & style
The Nama is the dressed-down Chloé shoe — the platform adds height while the natural beige, cream and tan tones keep it soft rather than sporty. It works with the house's fluid dresses and wide trousers as easily as with denim. The neutral colourways are the most versatile; the stitched detailing rewards a closer look, so it reads luxury even at a glance.
