Story & heritage
The Happy Sport collection is presented by Chopard as an emblem of creativity and boldness. The official product copy grounds the line in 1993, when Chopard combined steel and diamonds in a casual daily watch with gems dancing between two sapphire crystals.
Chopard began as a Swiss watchmaker in 1860 and later grew into a Geneva-based maison spanning watches and jewellery. Its modern icons repeatedly return to two house signatures: precise Swiss mechanics and jewellery pieces built around motion, light and responsibly sourced precious materials.
Materials & craft
The selected official model is a 33 mm automatic Happy Sport in Lucent Steel™ with diamonds. Chopard describes the line around free-spinning gems held between sapphire crystals, turning the dial into a moving jewellery surface rather than a static setting.
How to choose & style
Wear it like a jewellery watch with the ease of a steel sports piece: the cleaner steel references read crisp by day, while diamond-bezel and mother-of-pearl variants lean dressier.
