COS launched its first flagship on London’s Regent Street in 2007 and built a language of modern, seasonless pieces shaped by architecture, graphics and design. On Chicaire, the COS icons are therefore treated as quiet wardrobe anchors rather than logo-led status objects.

COS describes the Marais as a new icon, and editorial coverage has framed it as a follow-up to the brand’s sell-out bowling-bag momentum. Its appeal is deliberately understated: a boxy east-west silhouette with subtle 1990s undertones.

Materials & craft

The official page lists supple suede, elongated straps, zip closure, internal pocket and bonded-leather edges. The cappuccino and black shades keep the design inside COS’s neutral wardrobe language.

How to choose & style

Carry it with long coats, wool trousers or a column skirt. The shape is structured enough for work but soft enough to sit naturally against knitwear.
