Story & heritage
Costa Del Mar was founded in Daytona Beach in 1983 and became known among boaters and recreational fishermen for sun-glare protection. Blackfin PRO carries that fish-first lineage as an enhanced version of one of Costa’s most trusted and well-loved frames.
The official product page says Blackfin PRO builds on the original Blackfin look, polarized lens and fit, adding six angler-approved features for longer time on the water.
Materials & craft
Official specifications list a matte black frame, blue mirror Polarized Glass (580G) lenses, regular fit, size L and an 8-base decentered curve. The PRO build adds a vented adjustable nose pad, sweat channels, eyewire drains, side shields, hooding, stickier Hydrolite® and metal keeper slots.
