Sonja is Dansko’s traditional open-back clog: less secured than Ingrid, simpler than the Professional, and deliberately easy to step into. Official copy ties it directly to the classic Professional’s supportive feature set in a mule form.
Its importance is restraint. Sonja keeps the clog’s toe, rocker and support language while removing the back for house, studio, clinic break-room and everyday slip-on wear.
Materials & craft
The Sonja page lists an open-back mule with stapled construction, roomy toe box, odor-control comfort features and wipe-clean materials. In Black Oiled, it sits in the same heritage leather vocabulary as Ingrid and Frankie.
How to choose & style
