Story & heritage
Eterna’s official retail description presents the Tangaroa Moonphase Chronograph as a complete instrument, built around a Valjoux 7751 self-winding calibre.
It expands the Tangaroa idea from clean automatic into a full calendar chronograph with moonphase display, giving the brand a complication-heavy icon beyond the KonTiki divers.
Materials & craft
The official description lists a self-winding Valjoux 7751 with 48-hour power reserve, 28,800 vph and 25 jewels, providing hours, minutes, seconds, date, 24-hour display, day, month, moonphase and chronograph indications in a 42 mm polished and satin-finished stainless-steel case.
How to choose & style
Let the dial be the event. Steel bracelet versions feel technical and substantial; leather strap versions are easier with tailoring and reduce the visual weight of the complication.
