Story & heritage
Fox describes Instinct Boots as pro-level motocross boots for advanced and pro-level riders, redesigned from the sole up with input from riders including Ken Roczen, Tim Gajser, Adam Cianciarulo, Ryan Dungey, and the Pro Circuit Team.
Visually, Instinct is pure Fox moto: tall shin plate, aggressive colour blocking, and a boot shape that completes the V3/180/Flexair race kit.
Materials & craft
Official specs include a microfiber synthetic leather upper, TPU shin plate, toe cap, heel cap and calf guard, Ultratac™ rubber on the outsole and burn guard, air mesh with Microban treatment, composite nylon-fiberglass cuff, patented hinge lockout, patented buckle closure, low-ride chassis, anti-shock midsole and heel pad, and replaceable outsole or sole insert.
How to choose & style
Let Instinct boots carry the loudest colour in a moto kit. Red or purple boots demand a matching jersey/helmet detail; white and black versions make a graphic kit feel more polished.
