Story & heritage
The Centenary Micro Case translates Globe-Trotter’s suitcase form into a handbag. The official page calls it a miniaturised version of the iconic Centenary suitcase design, made for cross-body use.
That exact-shrink idea is why it belongs in the icon set: it is not simply a small bag with branding, but a portable replica of the house’s luggage architecture.
Materials & craft
The Micro Case is handcrafted in Hertfordshire, England from lightweight vulcanised fibreboard with leather trim on the corners, straps and handles. A lightweight metal frame with integrated hinges and a clasp opens to interior organisation for cards, phone and essentials.
How to choose & style
Use it as a precise little box against softer clothing: cashmere, wide trousers, shirting, evening black. It is structured enough to replace a mini top-handle, but the strap keeps it useful in a city day.
