Story & heritage
The VT-04 Utility Jinbei Jacket is one of GOOPiMADE’s clearest early statements: a functional jacket built from the shape language of Edo-period jinbei, then pushed through the brand’s loose urban-outdoor silhouette. Its official product copy ties it to the earlier FO-N02 WR Functional Jinbei and describes a wrap-front, y-shaped collar line, internal carrying straps and a pocket-heavy body.
For a label known for broad shoulders, roomy volume and technical fabric development, the VT-04 reads like a manifesto piece. It keeps the ritual feeling of a traditional garment while making the whole body work like wearable storage.
Materials & craft
Official copy lists a 100% nylon fabric made in Taiwan with TEFLON® water-repellent finishing, C6 eco water-repellent treatment and Bluesign®-certified dyeing. It also names NIFCO adjustable hardware, elastic cord adjustment at the cuffs, a full-body webbing system and ten front/back storage spaces cut into the garment body.
