Story & heritage
Haider Ackermann founded his own label in 2001 after studying fashion design in Antwerp; his work is documented for simple cuts, asymmetric lines and unexpected material contrasts. The long shawl coat fits the house vocabulary of elongated layers and wrapped proportions, here placed in the menswear coat category.
Materials & craft
FARFETCH describes the coat as navy blue stretch wool with a ribbed collar, concealed button placket, oversized fit, dropped shoulders, side pockets, zipped pockets, hanging straps, drawstring hem, drawstring cuffs and a rear central vent. The composition is wool with elastane.
How to choose & style
Let the length do the work: pair it with narrow trousers and polished boots, or use it over tonal knits for a column-like winter silhouette.
