In Holzweiler's technical-down edit, Dovre sits alongside Lom as one of the brand's key men's outerwear names. The shape translates the same mountain-and-weather logic as Besseggen and Loen, but into a broader, more utility-driven silhouette with bigger pockets and a more emphatic shoulder line.
Materials & craft
The current Dovre page describes recycled and responsibly sourced materials, RDS-certified down and a technical shell with 10K/10K Waterproof DWR finishing. Functionally, it is built around a two-way zip, rib cuff sleeves, quilted recycled lining and two large front patch pockets for storage.
How to choose & style
Dovre looks strongest when treated almost like outer shell equipment: beanie, textured knit and substantial trousers rather than delicate layering. Size discipline matters — if you want the shape to feel sharp rather than engulfing, keep the rest of the outfit lean.
