Story & heritage

Hurley's Wikipedia entry explicitly lists flip-flops among the products the brand sells, and the current men's menu includes sandals and flip-flops as a top-level shopping lane. The One and Only Sandal is the neatest official example because it keeps the surf essential as plain as possible instead of dressing it up with graphics.

The product page even describes it as a low-key boardwalk sandal, which is the right frame: not a fashion statement shoe, just the everyday beach pair that belongs naturally beside Hurley trunks and tees.

Materials & craft

Hurley specifies an EVA footbed with cut-and-buff construction and arch support, a poly textile webbing upper, a jersey-lined strap with foam backing, a custom debossed footbed, and a rubber-plus-EVA outsole with repeated icon-logo tread. The two official colorways shown here are black and bronzed.

How to choose & style

Black is the easiest all-rounder and the one that disappears into any swim or lounge look. The bronzed version reads warmer and more beach-specific; choose it if you want the sandal to feel more obviously summer.
