Story & heritage
The Glamour One Piece sits inside Jantzen's current Glamour by Jantzen edit, where the brand frames it as a dressed-up one-piece alongside swimdresses and other polished resort silhouettes. It is one of the cleanest modern expressions of the one-piece lineage Jantzen helped establish after developing its rib-stitch swimming suit prototype in the 1910s.
What distinguishes Glamour within the line is not novelty for novelty's sake, but a more fashion-led neckline treatment. The result is a swimsuit that reads slightly more formal than a basic tank suit while staying rooted in the fit-first codes Jantzen repeats across its one-piece range.
Materials & craft
Official product copy describes a square neckline, wide straps that can also be worn as cap sleeves, removable soft cups, built-in tummy control, and side shirring. The fabric is a smooth stretch swim jersey with UPF 50 protection, listed at 87% polyamide and 13% elastane.
How to choose & style
This is the black one-piece to choose when you want a swimsuit that can pass for bodysuit-adjacent resort wear under a wrap skirt or linen trouser. The square neck looks especially strong with pared-back accessories and simple hair; the silhouette already does enough.
