By 2023, the Bumper had already become the softer cult alternative in JW Anderson's bag universe. Teen Vogue's coverage of Harry Styles and Dua Lipa carrying the Bumper-17 framed it as the daytime sibling to the original cult Bumper, which is exactly how the family operates: rounded, easier, still very specific.
Materials & craft
Farfetch's current Bumper-15 listing describes a leather crossbody with grained texture, silver-tone hardware, curved corners, top-zip fastening, a detachable shoulder strap and an additional logo-print strap. The rounded bumper edge is what makes the family recognizable; the rest of the construction stays deliberately straightforward.
